I have been fortunate in my twenty five year career to work for and with many large service organisations, mostly just good at their business. As such I have been surrounded by successful and inspirational characters of all traits and personality types with broad experience and unique skill sets. Over time, no matter where I worked, three common themes appeared;
- People that did really well were in roles where they could use their natural character strengths
- Projects invariably always brought friction and discontent for people
- Teams serving core business units struggled to get the attention of leaders they were serving
The next observation came from working with groups of people with similar character types and noticing the absence, at all levels of hierarchy, of the use of human-centred methodologies. Projects were carried out well with operational efficiency but consistently limited or intermittent success particularly with the people affected by the change.

Given businesses are constantly asking people to perform better and to continually change, the rise of both Organisational coaching and Change Management in business has been relatively slow in my opinion. With these two fields, business can be transformed at a much more rapid and effective pace, where the anticipated human journey of change is managed well.
The evidence is solid - better outcomes are achieved when focus is given to the people who need to embrace, adopt and utilise a new process, environment, and/or system to achieve business objectives. Thus Lunico Coaching and Consulting was borne, to work with people and simply make it easier to evolve.
